Daily Bread 6-2-18

Psalms 54

1. Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by my strength.

2. Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3. For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set god before them. Selah.

4. Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

5. He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

6. I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.

7. For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.

ref. - Ps 118:7 - The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

Is 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Ps 89:49 - Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?

Let us call on the Lord with unending faith. He will deliver us from the mouth of the lion and from the hands of our oppressors! He will hear our voices when we cry out to him! Let us have faith that those who oppress or fight against us are not of God and they will be taken out of our ways! God is our helper! He will support those who help us in our Spiritual journey and he will deliver us from all that rise up against us! He is our strength! He is our fortress! He is our saving grace!! All glory and honor to God our Father in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!! This is just a great confirmation that those who fight against us will not prosper as they are not of God. They are strangers and not brothers as the Spirit of God is not with them. There is no spirit that has the strength to overcome or even challenge the Spirit of God so let us rest in peace, knowing that we will be taken care of as long as we follow him in Spirit and truth!!
