The Sermon on the mount

Matthew 5:11-14

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt hath lost his savor, where with shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

ref. - Pr 4:18 - But the path of the just is as a shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

No matter what we are going through, no matter which roads we have travelled, we must stay grounded and settled in the gospel that has saved our souls! There have been thousands before us that have traveled this path and there will be thousands more, but it is how we accept what the world throws at us that will determine who we are. This sermon from Jesus Christ is here to stay and it is here for us! We must keep drawing our information and our answers from this gospel and strive forward to not only remain in the grace of God but also to finish our races. If we could only see, but instead we must have faith. We have been given everything that we need to prosper Spiritually in Jesus Christ but we must be transformed to believe things such as; Blessed are ye when men shall revile you......... So, today, and forever on, let us pray that God will pour his Spirit upon us as his children in Jesus Christ and let him shine through us as we make this journey. If his Spirit shines in us we will stand out not by how we look, but by the way that we travel through this land on our way to eternity!!! Have a great day!!!
