Daily Bread 12-13-17

Isaiah 60:1-3

1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

ref. - Mal 4:2 - But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Rev 21:24 - And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it.

Arise! Shine! For thy light is come!! What good news in a dark and dreary world! Jesus has come!! As the world grows further and further away from God we have such a wonderful opportunity walk in to the light! Not only are those who have not heard the good news of salvation entering in but also those who have been serving God according to the letter are learning to serve him the way that Christ has brought us! A Spiritual enlightening and a light that gives us a path in the darkness. The Glory of the Lord is risen upon thee!! Just as the light shone in the darkness to lead the three wise men to the manger where Jesus lay, we have been given a chance to be that very same light. Jesus Christ within us will not only bring new people to the Lord but also lead the wise (the ones that understanding of this gospel has not been revealed to) into understanding. All we must do to experience this is to be saved! So, today, repent of your sins! Be redeemed! And let the light shine in you!! What once was a light that walked this earth in human form is now a Spirit that lives in the souls of many who are saved! Is this Spirit inside of your soul? Do you have this Spirit that cries out Abba, Father! Or are you still in bondage and trapped under the laws of sin? There is good news for all today and forever! Jesus saves! Jesus heals! He loves you! And he wants to dwell with you! As the world falls away God's will is for us to shine brighter every day and draw those who are lost, whether in darkness or misunderstanding, into the light that is Jesus Christ!! So let him in and watch as the light begins to shine through each of you!! And have a great day!!
