John 4:24

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth.

ref. - Ac 17:24-29 - God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, and haply if they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

We have been taught that God is a Spirit. This is not something that has been manufactured by man. It is supported and proven in the scriptures. And yet, we make idols out of buildings, and names, and other humans, when the word of God clearly tells us that God is a Spirit. We are told to seek after Spiritual gifts and most importantly understanding in the Holy Spirit but we chase after the approval of men and seek the acknowledgment of ungodly people. We want to be seen and heard and still think that our answers are going to come from this world. This, brothers and sisters is why we cannot possess but only try to manufacture the gifts of the Spirit. When we are still attached to the world we will still seek out our rewards in a carnal fashion. We will be calling on a carnal God, which does not exist, and, in turn we will turn carnal occurrences into stories of Spiritual blessing. If we are going to receive the true blessings and rewards of God, that we read and learn is in Christ Jesus, then we must cross a threshold that separates this carnal word from a Spiritual God. This does not mean that we do not have to exist and cannot flourish in this world. Quite the contrary. What it means is that if we seek out the things of God Spiritually, knowing that he, too is a Spirit and not a man, the things of this world will be supplied and we may also live a peaceful life on this earth. But make no mistake, this world is not our home, we are merely passing through. Our bodies and all that we possess will remain on this rock but our Spirit, the being that he has given us, will be what continues on. This is the journey that we must prepare for and this is the part of us that we need to be honourable and approved by God. Many worldly people cannot look pas the carnal world of family, friends, and this earth, and this is why they struggle with anything Spiritual. They become every other "Christian" and never actually make the transformation that is offered by serving a Spiritual God. This is not for us, brothers and sisters. We have been taught and it has been read to us over and over to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and that the things necessary to exist and cohabitate this earth will be given to us. Seek the true God that is a Spirit, seek for the Holy Spirit through faith and obedience to what we have been brought by Jesus Christ, and know what it is through the testimony that is within us that we are the children of God. Let us worship him not with our hands and our mouths which are led by the world to do evil and speak lies, but in Spirit and in truth that is the gift of God!! Have a great day!!
