Jude 20,21
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ until eternal life.
ref. - Col 2:7 - Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Matt 10:20 - For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
Ro 8:26 - Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.
Pray, pray, and pray some more! In this book of Jude he explains to us that there will be mockers in the last time, walking after their own lusts. He explains that these are they who do not have the Holy Ghost. They speak things to make people follow them and for their own advantages, they are murmurers and complainers. But we, brothers and sisters, have not been fashioned after them, we have been fashioned after Jesus Christ! This is why it is so important to learn of him and become obedient to his teachings and commandments. We must be different in that we follow a Spirit that cannot be seen or touched, but only heard in our deepest areas where no man can enter. Our hearts, minds, and souls. We must be separate in that we follow a higher calling than the world has to offer and we listen to a direction and guidance that the world does not understand. In order to receive this guidance and direction we must submit ourselves to one God. Not family, not traditions, not friends, not fame, not fortune, not power or might. One God, above all others, giving us what we need when we need it and leading us through this maze that we call life on earth. Although there are many that are called to this, there are not many that receive the gift. Not many that are chosen. This being because they will not submit to a level in which the Spirit of God will enter them and take up residency in their souls. But, again, we have been called, now let us be the ones standing in line behind Christ when he chooses. You see, we have been exposed to this Spirit, we have seen the results and heard the wisdom that the Holy Ghost can bring, so it is high time for us to awaken to this understanding and guidance ourselves. We can no longer just float along claiming ignorance. Will we all be preachers? No, there are so many different gifts and purposes that God has for each of us. If we study what God used others in the word of God to do we can see the type of callings that he gave to men and also to women who became submissive. He gave gifts to those of different races, social backgrounds, heritage, financial status. None of these statuses on the earth meant anything to him, just those with a willing and humble attitude, eager to follow Christ and be obedient to what he instructed. Today we must look inside ourselves and pray like never before. From the innermost being. Not even necessarily with our mouth, but with our hearts. We must pray in the Spirit to receive the things of the Spirit. Even though we do not know what our souls need, the Spirit within us will call out to his Spirit and they will become one! Do not any longer be led by the carnal misleadings of false prophets, but be led by those who tell the truth, whether easy or hard, and teach the true gospel. Soothsayers and gainsayers have their reward, don't be fooled. The gospel as given to us by Jesus Christ is what we have been called to. It was spoken of by the prophets and proven to us while he walked on the earth, and now it is available to us through the Holy Ghost. This, brothers and sisters, is where the truth is that will set us all free. Because Jesus Christ is the way! The truth! and the life!!! So pray, pray again, and then pray some more, and let the Spirit work it's purpose in you!!! Doesn't it feel good to know that this lesson and this scripture is especially for you!!! Have a great day!!!
