Psalm 140:11-13
11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
12 I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
ref. - Ps 109:31 - For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.
So much condemnation and so much judgment in the world today. All men look upon others and past themselves. This Psalm should give us some insight to what God wants and who he will stand for. The upright, not the upside down or the crooked or the sideways, the upright. When we suffer affliction and violent , worldly men seek to afflict us, we must make sure that the ground that we stand on is holy ground. When we turn to violence the word says that not God, but evil will hunt him down and overthrow him. This meaning that violence no longer belongs in us as the one who has perfected violence is the devil. Once we cross over to his territory he will overtake us and we will no longer be in control of ourselves. Much more important, we will have crossed over away from the protection of God and into a realm that is ruled by the devil. So, today, will we choose to stand upright in the presence of the Lord or will we choose to dive into hell and dwell with the enemy. Let's put it this way, The Lord is here for us to hold us, protect us, and keep us upright if we worship him and become submissive to his commands and orders. Then enemy is here to overtake us, and overthrow us, and make us condemned to the point where God casts us into hell by dragging us far away from the presence of the Lord and into a prison where we do not belong. So, today. let us each decide whether we want to be bound by Satan, or set free by God in Jesus Christ. The choice is ours!! Have a great day!!!
