Daily Bread 6-30-17
Psalms 94:11-14
11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Blessed is the man whom thou chasteneth, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;
13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Deut 31:6 - Be strong and of a good courage, fear not , nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Listen Brothers and Sisters and be built up in the correct way. The way that God builds you up. Through his mighty word and in his Spirit we will be corrected and trimmed up throughout our journey on this earth. It will be when there comes no correction and there is no "trimming" that we must begin to worry. We know that until that day there will always be something to improve on. And what Father would not try to help his children to prepare for the great test and what Father would not help his children arm themselves for battle? God is trying to help us, while we are here, so that when the time comes we will be allowed to go there and be with him. The more correction that we accept and put into practice the smaller the mountains will get to climb and the less that our enemies will effect our daily lives and our inner being. When they have lesser effect on us will be when it will not be such a battle any longer. The problem that we face is that we keep visiting the Spiritual realm and then returning to our carnal selves. Our need to belong to some group or our need for popularity or family will only bring us face to face with the enemy that wants to destroy us. And it will effect us as we inwardly still want to belong to that group that the enemy controls. We will be in a constant battle as we are in direct disobedience to what we have been commanded by the Lord. Our correction will come time and time again and we will moan and wail but still remain in disobedience. When, Brothers and Sisters will we finally realize who our true family is? Who our Mother and our Brothers really are? The word of God says that they are them who do the will of God. The word of God is very uplifting in that it reinforces us and tells us that we are not alone in this plight. The world will not be our friend, it will even hate us for no longer following it, but we will be in the company of our Lord. That, Brothers and Sisters, is the only help that we need. Now don't get a disobedient spirit and begin to think that you don't need Church, or the people that are truly in it. This is exactly who Jesus himself said that our Mother(Church) and our Brothers(other followers of Christ) are. God will never leave us or forsake us so it is time to rise up on our own, out of the ashes of the world and stand on the solid rock that is Jesus Christ. Accept correction and be thankful that he is still working with us, preparing us for the next twist in the road or the next mountain, and protecting us and traveling with us along every mile!! Our God is an awesome God and he will be there for us, don't ever forget that!! Have a great day!!!
