Daily Bread 6-5-17

Romans 3:22-24

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

ref. - Ro 4:23-25 - Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, tho whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Col 3:11 - Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: But Christ is all, and in all.

Gal 3:22 - But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Eph 1:7 - In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.

Today we are in a time where there is no race, creed, or color that has the upper edge in serving God. There are no special favors handed out to those who are of a certain heritage. We all must realize that we are in sin and receive forgiveness in Jesus Christ. It is not a steeper hill to climb for one and less for another, it is an equal opportunity to receive redemption in Jesus Christ. Although there were many who were called to understand the will of God and the "oracles" of God, it is now today offered to those who will believe. We must all come to realize that we have all sinned and let our God down. The only way to recover from that sin is through repentance and remission of sins. This comes through Jesus Christ. But just as in this time, there are many who think that they are beyond or above repentance, or just will not acknowledge that they have sinned. Just as the Jews, they are relying on what they had done in the past, how long they were there, who they are....etc. Their lack of conscience and denial of the truth will not set them free but will cast them into hell . Truth be told, none of us are anything unless we repent. We are not Jews, we are not redeemed, we are not even saved, if we cannot come to the feet of Christ and repent. The word of God says that he will forgive us if we only repent. It says that we all have an equal chance but we must come with a humble heart and a contrite(broken) spirit. You see, the reason that many do not understand is because they do not have Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This is a must in order to understand that no matter who we are, when we are wrong, we are wrong. When the word of God convicts us(not man, but the word of God), we must make right with God. No bumper sticker, no poster full of kittens and a Bible verse, no outrageous act in front of man will save us. Only Jesus Christ. And, once again, this is for everyone, no matter how big or small, we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord. Only God knows what he has called us to but our start will come when we actually fear him. He is not going to pet us on the back and say it is "ok" when he meets us. He will either accept us in or cast us into a lake of fire. This is the power that God has and always will have. There will be no escaping judgment, the only thing is, we can determine which side of judgment we end up on. If it is broken, fix it in Christ Jesus!! If it is not broken, keep drawing closer and strive to attain perfection in Christ Jesus!! But above all, repent and be saved in your soul and not only in your voice. Redemption is all around you, and it is in Jesus Christ!! Have a great day!!!
