Daily Bread 5-25-17

Psalms 50:15-23

15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.

18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

21 These things thou hast done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.

ref. - Job 22:27 - Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shall pay thy vows.

Ps 22:23 - Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

Pr 1:7 - The fear if the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Pr 1:28,29 - Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early,but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord.

Ro 1:32 - Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Ec 8:11 - Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them that do evil.

Ro 2:4 - Or despiseth thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Let the scriptures be many and thine own words be few. He who has ears to hear let him hear. There are many who go around as busybodies speaking evil of well doers and trying to gather up the troops for revolution, but, be careful, Brothers and Sisters. Their day is coming. Just because things do not happen right away doesn't mean that God does not see what is going on. What we must remember is not to be a son of man and then think it is all right for us to jump on that bandwagon. When someone is going in disregard to that which they are called to, there will be a terrible end without Godly repentance. In that there will be a day when all answers will be set and nothing can be changed. We wonder why bad people prosper and good people suffer? Well, it depends on what you consider prosperity and what you consider suffering. In a Spiritual man's eyes it is better to remain quiet, if the Spirit leads him to be quiet, and to remain in peace with God than to join others who are directly disobedient to God and his scriptures and gospel or to debate with them. A Spiritual man knows that, in time, God will set them in order before many. It will be then that we will have to look inside ourselves and see if we had joined in with the ungodly, or if we had remained with our true Brothers and kept worshipping and praising God. Not the act of worship, but the actual inner Spiritual worship that God is looking for. On the subject of suffering? Well, it is better to be at peace with God than to have a million supporters who end up in hell. A Spiritual man seeks peace with God and does not consider it suffering to not gain the approval of ungodly men. He, rather, considers suffering to have to wake up every day and not have God on his side. This is what suffering is to the godly man. This is why we must neither do the acts of the ungodly, or have pleasure in them that do them. If they have come to a godly repentance and have gone and taken care of their offenses, you are to welcome them back as Brothers and Sisters, but not until they have done it in the proper way as set in by the scripture and the Church. If you have been caught up in the wrong thing or are in disagreement with what God has set in order it is highly encouraged that you pray to God that he transform you into a Spiritual man or woman and that you will come in accordance to his will and his ways. It is not too late, but your pride will have to be put away and humility will have to be your new friend. That is, if you have made it to the end of this letter and not stopped because it convicted you. Get on your knees and repent from your soul. You can stop what you are doing and turn back to the Lord. He is waiting for you to turn from your evil ways and them that do them, and return to him. In Jesus' name let all things be done decently and in order. He will show you his salvation, but you will have to look away from the world and it's princes to see it. Have a great day!!!
