Daily Bread 5-15-17

James 4:9-12

9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

10 Humble yoursleves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou to judgest another?

ref - Mt 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

A little lesson in humility. Some have put themselves a little too high on the ladder. They have placed themselves in positions and places where they have not been called nor are qualified to be. No longer or never serving God themselves but going around trying to have a voice and judge them that do. The sinner and the deviant has climbed onto a ladder in which they don't belong, and many Godly men are falling today because they have stepped aside and let these devils have a voice. Instead of the Godly men being the instructor and the deliverer of Holy Ghost messages they sit quietly and allow anyone who wishes to speak on the platform that belongs to God. They have succumbed to threats of desertion by those who wish to continue to live ungodly, or they are scared of the outcome if they do what they are supposed to or as they are instructed of them that have the rule over them. In their case blood is thicker than water. They fear man over what God has truly called them to. They laugh and rejoice and take pleasure in those who are not serving God, or are pretending to serve God with no faith or fear of God involved, in fear of losing them. All the while siding with the sinner over their godly brothers and sisters. They have allowed the enemy to climb on a platform higher than them and now they listen to sinners instead of being the Godly authority that He has called them to be. They are no longer fearful of the one who can cast them body and soul in to hell but rather fear them that only have power over the body and not the soul. This is not given to accuse anyone or to threaten. They who have ears to hear, let them hear. This is to instill fear of God back into the ones who were called to a great thing, they were called to salvation in Jesus Christ and some even into God's ministry in the Holy Ghost. Read this scripture and the reference, and read it again, and then take a good look in the mirror. We must all remember, the higher that you put yourself on the ladder, the harder the fall. But if God puts you high on the ladder, you will never fall. These words are firm and strong when they are printed on a computer from far away, but they will be just as strong and even more firm when face to face. God's will is that no man should fall, and some are getting ready to step over the edge. Read it and pray and have a great day!!
