Daily Bread 5-12-17

Mark 4:26-29

26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

28 For the earth bright forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear.

29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

ref. - Mt 13:24 - And another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

We pray that God bring forth his will and let his kingdom come on this earth. So let us learn what his kingdom really is on this earth. We are to plant good seed and let him raise it up in the way that he sees fit. We are to water and nurture it night and day, but God will cause the seed to develop into a fruitful vine. When he comes to harvest it we mustn't be dismayed or upset as he provided the seed in the first place. No matter what weather, storm, disease, or evil that this seed has to face in this life, if it ripens into a fruitful vine or plant, he will decide when to harvest. But rest assured, there will be a harvest. Some will be put to work here on earth with a heavenly calling that they must fulfill before they reach their final home, others will be taken when their vines are filled with fruit(fruit of the Spirit). You see, it is not for us to determine the times and places or even the purpose of a man, that is up to God. What we need to pay attention to is that we are allowing his will to be done and his kingdom to come in this earth in a way that comes from God and not our own desires and lusts. We must not let our selves get in the way or try to control or claim what does not belong to us. What we must do is to pray to God that he will allow us to be of some sort of help in his purpose for mankind. The seed that we must plant is Jesus Christ. If Christ dwells within us and others, there will be fruit without great effort and much hard work. Fruit will be given us if we trust in him. Prayer is the key to heaven, but faith unlocks the door! Through our examples and the information that we can give others(our testimonies), a seed will be planted that will spring up into something that the enemy cannot take away. It will be from God. So let the kingdom of heaven dwell within you today so that others may see that...........God is goooooooooddddd!!!!! Have a great day !!!!!!!!
