Daily Bread 1-23-17

Psalms 63

1 Oh God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirtieth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is,

2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for the foxes.

11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

Ps 17:15 - As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Isa 25:6 - And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

Ps 149:5 - Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud on their beds.

Isa 26:9 - With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Today, as in all days, let us rejoice! Let this Psalm enter into your heart and become the one who not only stands by this writing but lives it! God will take care of all of our needs and he will straighten what needs straightening. We can never repay him for what he has done but he doesn't ask to be repaid. He only wants our praise!! So read this scripture, and read it again! Pray to the Lord for peace in your soul and rejoice! Allow your soul to follow hard after the Lord, focused on him and his teaching. Following after his great example. And do not let the things of this world drag you down. He is worthy of our praise and he will deliver those who walk in righteousness! Let the world pull away from him and go it's own way but, we , as god's chosen people, shall stay on the rock of our foundation in Jesus Christ!!! Let us pray in the morning! Let us pray in the noontime!! Let us pray in the night! Let us pray in our beds and on the hilltops! In all honesty and praise let us worship him and watch as he delivers us from evil and from our enemies. Our God is an awesome God, he reigns, on heaven and earth!!! He has provided for his people and protected them for thousands of years and he still does today!! Let us seek him continually, in everything we do, everything we think, and everything we say, and let us give him the praise in which he is so deserving!! Lord, we are thankful, we are content, we are more than gracious with all you have provided us with! Glory to God for ever and ever, Amen. Have a great day!!!
