Luke 12:31-32
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
ref. - Matt 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matt 11:25 - At the time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven, and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
We all go about worrying how we are going to pay our bills, cloth our bodies, take care of our children, what car we will drive, house to live in, etc. but the word of God is clear and precise in that it says that we must first seek the kingdom of God in all things. Looking for his righteousness, then all of these things shall be added unto you. Let's look at a carnal example; how to get money to pay for the bills. If we go the ways of the world we say we can cheat, lie, or steal to get money. Deceive whoever is necessary. Another way that the world aims us is to beg for it and someone will give it to us if we can seem poor, oppressed, and desolate. But in the teachings of the Bible, God's wisdom, the Apostle Paul says that we must go out and work to earn our money. He says that beggars will hinder the gospel and stealing and deceit is a sin. So if we go with what the word of God tells us, we must become diligent and work to earn our share. This does not come by making a decision to do it. No, it has to be put in our souls by the Holy Ghost. God has to give us that wisdom. Those that are wise to the world take advantage of everything the world has to offer. But those who are wise to the will of God and his wisdom approach things very differently. They settle disputes differently, approach sin differently, and if obedient to the instructions given them, the outcome is wonderful and God's wisdom once again shows us that He is on the throne and will help us when we are in need. He doesn't want us to worry about what the world throws at us because that will be ongoing, but he wants us to find the answers to all of our questions and needs through his Son, Jesus Christ. If we would just go to the word of God first instead of the world, we would have all that we need, experience all we need to experience, and overcome any obstacle that the world throws our way. Let's get to work!!! Have a great day!!!!
