Daily Bread 10-14-16

John 14:1-3

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

ref. - 2 Co. 5:1 - For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, and house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

John 13:33 - Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, thou canst follow me now; so now I say to you.

Matt 25:32-34 - 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations; and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd deviated his sheep fro the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

John 12:26 - If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him shall my Father honour.

John 17:24 - Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
