Daily Bread 8-20-16
Hebrews 13:12-15
12 Wherefore Jesus also, so that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For we have no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

1P 4:14 - If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye: for the spirit of glory and God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
Ps 50:14 - Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most high:
Our confidence, our worship, our loyalty shall belong to no other than God in Jesus Christ his Son!! If we look at the example that Christ left us through the Holy Scriptures we can see that he was not put in chief seats in the synagogue of the Jews but that he was out among the people creating the Church that God would allow Him to build. The one that he had prepared for the Jews in the first place. He was not revered by the non-believers but was shunned and his name was profaned. If he he promised us the same power in his name it is high time that we begin to believe that he is with us and use that power. It will not be long before we are told not to worship our God in public, as a matter of fact, it already is in some places, but we must go on spreading this Gospel with confidence and deep in the teachings of Christ through the scripture. It will be told that we need to change our message due to the changing of times but we must stand fast to what was brought to us by Jesus Christ knowing that it will never change. We are not here to impress worldly people nor are we here to try to deceive or trick them to coming in, we are here to worship God through the thick and the thin. We are here to remain devoted to the Gospel that has been given us through the Holy Scriptures in Jesus Christ. We are here to stand strong and confident in Jesus Christ, giving praise to God continually knowing that this world is not where we will spend eternity. Whether glorified or crucified, our direction and devotion is not made to be changed. What God has given us can no man take away! The fruit that he is looking for is the fruit of our lips giving praise unto his name!! So let us get out there, outside of the gate! Outside of the protection of the Church, and be the same devout Christians that we are when inside the Church!! If they tell you off at least you know that they heard what you were saying! If they cast you out of their "circles" at least show them that you will continue on in glory and that you will not be altered in your devotion to Christ no matter who is with you or against you! If your confidence and diligence in serving Christ brings one person in your whole life to know the living God then you have a great reward coming in heaven as you have covered a multitude of sins!! I don't know about you but I think it is time to praise the Lord and not be stopped!!! So let's get out there and do it!!!! Have a great day!!!
