Romans 12:3
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
ref. - Eph 4:7 - But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Think on this today children. As we come from sin and repent a new life begins. Even though we face many of the same obstacles as the rest of civilization we somehow are able to get through them. Things that would have destroyed us in the past are now only a faithful prayer from being a small thing in our lives. We handle things differently because God has changed us into new creatures in Christ Jesus. A total transformation that man could not do, only God could do. We must remember, however, that even though these obstacles seem small to us, thanks to God, they are still mountains to those who do not have Jesus in their hearts. Let us not think of ourselves as better than anyone, just more fortunate. With these gifts from God we must realize that we also have more responsibility. Just as we wished and searched for a better way of life there are thousands and millions of people still in the world struggling. Our purpose is not to stand and gloat and brag about how these things are small but to realize that some are not yet prepared to move the mountain. Our kind words and caring hearts are the way to open a pathway for all who are lost to come to Christ. Are we going to be rejected of worldly men? Of course. But if we possess the gift of Christ we will realize that rejection of a seed does not mean it has not been planted. And they who are struggling in this world are watching our lives and many are jut waiting for us to reach out to them and show them the way. If a thousand reject our Lord and one accepts Him we must rejoice in knowing that one day the one in a million soul was ours! To change our own lives is better than silver and gold, but to help another change theirs is priceless. It is a change that can only be done by God but our examples and our loving kindness can help a soul to find Him. So, today, instead of looking at the sinner as a lost and lonely person and yourself as a child of God, look at them as a Child of God who has not yet found their family. Some missionaries start orphanages for children with no parents or homes and some are spiritual who give the fatherless and homeless souls a place of rest and comfort. Show a spiritual orphan today that in God's eyes they are just as capable of success as we have been and that they are always welcome in the arms of Jesus. We are all walking on the same piece of dirt, none higher than the other. So let us get on our knees today and pray for the lost that they may find the way to climb their mountain and bear their cross in Jesus' name. And have a great day!!!
