Daily Bread 10-17-18

James 2:18-20

18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

ref. - Mt 8:29 - And behold, they cried out, saying, what have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Gal 5:6 - For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

One without the other is vanity. If we have fait the word of God tell us that there will be a path left behind us of works. Our lives are not about stating how holy we are or how faithful. But we are here to prove that through faith, ll things are possible. We can endure through things that would destroy many people, through faith. We can help others that we never thought we could help, through faith. We can be healed, through faith. We can be saved, through faith. You see, every time we state what we have given or received because of our faith it is works. Salvation? Works. Healing? Works. Perseverance? Works. Even in science we learn that with every action there is a reaction. This is very true in what God does with our faith. He will create something good in us if we display a little bit of faith. And then it will grow and grow until what God is doing through us cannot be denied. this is when faith becomes works and the whole world will know! So, if you are from the do-nothing and receive everything generation........even you.......will produce fruit if you let your faith lead and guide you. Have a great day!!!!
