Romans 8:24 - For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
ref. - Heb 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
What we all need is just a little more faith.....or a lot more faith. We must believe what the word of God is saying to the point that we have hope in the promises it gives us. All of these signs that we seek are nothing compared to the glory that we will someday see when we reach the other side. Faith is believing that the answer is coming even though it doesn't come in our timing. Faith is letting God have control of our souls, not knowing which direction he will take us, but believing in hope that it is exactly what we are created for. So many times we try to decide our own paths, our own callings, and our own destiny when faith will put it in the hands of the one who knows our destiny. Let us put it this way, if we need to see a sign before we will become obedient to God, the sign is all we will receive. We will start looking for more signs and demanding more proof in order to believe. No, we need to take a step back and start in the right direction. What we need to do is start with the smallest of faith in that we do not need to see touch, feel, taste, or hear anything, but that in inner transformation is going to take place in us, changing the course of our lives and the intentions of our hearts. Salvation is not the promise of a better life on earth, although usually it goes that way, but it is a promise in hope of everlasting life. A place we will go after our time on this rock is through that will far surpass our every expectation and every imagination. Most of us cannot imagine what it will be like because we are thinking carnally and not spiritually. If we are just looking for a better life on this earth, and he gives it to us, then why will we ever want to pass on to the everlasting life? No, rather we will be sacred of death as it will be the end of all of the great things we have on this earth. In faith we must believe that, even though we will forget this former life, that what he has prepared for us is better than anything this world has to offer. Let us ask ourselves this question, did you feel salvation? Did you taste it? Did you see it? Did you hear it? did you touch it? No, it was something in your inner being that was changed and it happened internally. For those who have not experienced a true salvation, this is what it is. Not saying that you didn't feel a hand, or see a vision, but the true salvation comes when our hearts are purged of sin and we are forgiven and clean. This hope and this faith is the start of a great journey, but what we have on this earth is not even a start of the journey we will be taking if we can remain faithful, obedient, and hopeful to the end!! So let us step out in faith and learn to expect the extraordinary and to experience the supernatural. What God has to offer in Jesus Christ is out of this world!! Have a great day!!!
