Daily Bread 3-18-17

1 Timothy 1:5-10

5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for mans layers,

10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for men stealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

ref. - Gal 5:14 - For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

2 Tim 2:22 - Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Ro 7:12 - Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just and good.

Gal 3:19 - Wherefore then serviette the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed would come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Do you care to be out from under the bondage of the law? The true Gospel will deliver you from such bondage. No, not a man made doctrine, but the Bible doctrine. The freedom does not lie in how many times you repeat a prayer of repentance from a book, it doesn't lie in how you redress or recreate your look, it lies solely in the teachings of Jesus Christ. All that needs to be borrowed or used from other areas of gospel are included in the teachings of Christ. We use the other areas of the word of God to confirm and support that all that Christ brings us is all we need. The promise that was brought to us was in Jesus Christ. Love, redemption, charity, clean heart, forgiveness........it is all included and available to all of us who will concentrate on it and pray to become obedient to it. Many will stray around, using other parts of the scripture to push their own ideas and agendas, such as bondage in order to attain something for themselves, but in Christ Jesus none of this will stand. The law will come down on those who misuse grace and that is a promise. For if we step in front of, beside, or any other way than under grace, we will be returned to the law and thereby convicted and condemned in the eyes of our Lord. So, let us remain in the doctrine of the Bible as given to us through the Holy Ghost and Jesus Christ, and we will not fall to vain words that bring us temporary comfort, but true, honest, pure words from the author of our salvation, Jesus Christ. It is in this that we, too, may fulfill what God has given us!!! We can do it, with Christ we can do it!! Have a great day!!!
