Romans 4:12-13

12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

ref. - Gen 12:3 - And I will bless them that bless thee, and curseth him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Gal 3:29 - And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Not according to our acts but because of our faith! Isn't this good news!! But is it a permit to continue in sin? No. Through the faith of Abraham we are shown that it is what we believe in and not the actions that we have taken that bring us to God. If we believe in something we are not going to do something that is exactly the opposite, we will stay in what we believe in. So this negates all of the relaxed teachings of the false prophets of the acceptable sin gospel. Truth is, we were born in sin and we had to change our minds and believe in something that was not given to us at birth. We are not recognized by God for who we are or what lineage we came from but how the teachings in the word of God brought us to believe in a man named Jesus. Abraham was not recognized for his blood line, he was recognized for his dedication and devotion to believe what God told him in even the toughest of circumstances. We, too, will never be recognized by anything other than our faith. We have not been born into this but were given a chance when we showed the littlest amount of faith. We believed in Jesus Christ and our lives were forever changed. What we need to know is that we need to keep on in this faith, knowing that without believing in the one who put it in us, our actions will come back void. Is it good to live a clean and holy life? Of course, it is required of the believer. But if we do not believe in what we are doing eventually it will fade away and come back void. You see, our actions must be fueled by faith and willingness of heart and not necessity. Willingness of heart means that holiness has been put in us through our beliefs in the teachings of Christ. This is where we are recognized. The other route is to do things of necessity or act them out. Not coming back fruitful but eventually returning to what we truly believe in and not clinging to our faith in God through Jesus Christ. So today and every day after, let it be known that God IS for everyone but only received by they who believe. His wonders, His miracles, all the promises that he has made are ours if our actions and deeds are fueled by our faith in Him. So let us put the right oil in our lamps today and into eternity and let them shine for all the world to see!!!! Have a great day!!!
